When you’ve found your pet, celebrate with a big pet hug and a deep breath. Remember to thank people who have helped you search. Update lost pet postings on social media. Take down signs you’ve posted.
And, if you don’t already have one, be sure you have an ID tag on your pet’s collar with a contact phone number.
